Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Software QA Automation Engineer to join the Application Software Quality Assurance group, vital for verifying and enhancing the quality of both bespoke and third-party applications. This role is crucial for sustaining the agile delivery of features, through the development of automated test suites and effective QA methodologies. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses a strong foundation in software development, and exhibits a profound understanding of test automation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop & maintain automated test suites for applications. Advocate QA methodologies across development teams. Formulate detailed test plans and cases. Manage preparation of test data and execute functional, system, & integration tests. Monitor systems post-launch and ensure the integrity of data throughout the lifecycle.
Must-Have Skills:
Proficiency in Python and automation frameworks. Strong experience with Selenium or similar tools for web and mobile testing. Fundamental understanding and hands-on experience with RESTful services and API test automation.
Industry Experience:
Prior experience in a Test Automation role within Software Engineering Applications, with exposure to Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices preferred.
