This is not a position focused solely on AI research or creating chatbots. We are looking for someone who can work directly with our employees, understand how our trucking company operates, identify repetitive or inefficient processes, and build practical AI and automation solutions that save time and improve accuracy. You will work with departments including Recruiting, Safety & Compliance, Dispatch, Accounting/Billing, Human Resources and Management. What You'll Do Meet with employees and observe current workflows. Identify repetitive tasks that can be automated. Build AI-powered workflows and internal tools. Automate document and PDF processing. Automate data entry between systems. Improve driver recruiting and applicant follow-up. Help automate driver onboarding and document collection. Create automatic reminders for licenses, medical cards, registrations and other expiring documents. Improve BOL, POD and invoice-document processing. Automate routine email processing and follow-ups. Connect existing software using APIs and automation platforms. Create dashboards and reports for management. Develop internal AI assistants when appropriate. Train LDI employees to use the new systems. Monitor automations and troubleshoot problems. Document all systems and workflows that are created. Continually identify new opportunities to improve efficiency throughout the company. Skills We're Looking For Experience with several of the following: ChatGPT / OpenAI tools Microsoft 365 Excel Power Automate n8n Zapier Make APIs and system integrations Python SQL/databases PDF/document automation OCR and document data extraction AI agents or AI-assisted workflows CRM or business-management systems Trucking or logistics experience is helpful but not required. We care more about your ability to understand a business problem and build a working solution. Who We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you: Enjoy figuring out how businesses work. Can build solutions yourself instead of only recommending them. Are organized and able to manage multiple automation projects. Understand the importance of security and confidentiality when working with company and employee information. Recent graduates with strong real-world AI/automation projects are encouraged to apply.
