Electrical Design Validation Engineer Fulltime Permanent with Capgemini Engineering About the job you're considering: Looking for experienced Electrical design validation engineer for validating the power and high-speed interfaces in hardware prototypes consists of SOC and peripherals using hardware test equipment.
Your Role:
Responsible for end-to-end hardware development life cycle - requirement analysis, architecture design / analysis, implementation, testing, validation, compliance certification to General Availability (GA) Responsible for Board bring up, functional, power, high speed interface, thermal and system integration testing Client team coordination and project delivery leverage knowledge on Signal Integrity and Power Integrity analysis, Familiar with regulatory compliance certification testing
Your Skills and Experience:
Experience with Power PC/ARM/NXP/Intel processors, Microcontrollers, FPGA, CPLD, FLASH, e
MMC, DDR 3/4, MII/GMII/SGMII, SERDES, PCI/PCIE
Gen1/2/3 ,SFP, POE+,USB, LVDS interfaces
Key Skills:
Electrical Validations, High speed interface testing, Debugging electronics circuits & design Experience in characterizing high-speed including Electrical compliance testing Experience in Product end to end validation/testing Experience in schematics and layout design tools like Orcad, Allegro, DxDesigner, Design Entry HDL, Mentor Physical viewer, Valor, GC Preview tools Hands on experience in using high speed oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generators, Traffic Generator, SSA, VNA, DC Electronic Loads, Power Supply and Current Probes Experience in PDN, EMI/EMC, Timing, Thermal & Power analysis and testing Knowledge on scripting tools / Python for automations The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $65,200 - $169,900 Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law. The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.
