Job Description

Job Summary The SDET / Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. This role focuses on test automation, API validation, and integration of testing processes within CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will collaborate with development and DevOps teams to drive continuous quality improvement. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to define test strategies and requirements Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing Develop automation scripts using Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar technologies Validate APIs using tools such as Postman or REST Assured Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and code reviews Analyze test results and improve test coverage and quality processes Work closely with development and DevOps teams to enhance product quality Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 4+ years of experience in software testing and automation Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, or Python Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright Experience with API testing and automation frameworks Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control tools such as Git Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud-based platforms or SaaS applications Exposure to performance and security testing tools Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure Experience with enterprise platform testing
