Automotive Validation Engineer - Infotainment

(No C2C or third party resumes) Key Responsibilities Execute manual validation of automotive HMI and infotainment features on hardware benches and target devices Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios using ALM tools such as Polarion Develop and enhance automated test scripts using Python and/or

ECU-TEST

Validate Android-based infotainment systems, UI flows, and end-user interactions Perform testing for audio and connectivity features including AM/FM Radio, Bluetooth Audio (A2DP/HFP), media playback, and audio routing Validate automotive communication protocols such as CAN and SOME/IP Utilize Vector tools including CANoe and CANalyzer for simulation, debugging, and protocol analysis Analyze logs, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues Support regression testing, integration testing, and release validation activities Contribute to validation strategies, test plans, and technical documentation

Required Skills & Experience:

4+ years of experience in Automotive Infotainment or HMI Validation Strong exposure to Android Automotive or Android-based infotainment platforms Hands-on experience in manual testing, validation, and test case development Experience working with Polarion or similar ALM/test management tools Experience in test automation using ECU-TEST and/or Python Working knowledge of Vector tools such as CANoe and CANalyzer Familiarity with HIL, SIL, and bench validation environments Strong understanding of CAN protocol and exposure to SOME/IP Knowledge of automotive ECU communication and diagnostics Experience validating audio features including AM/FM, Bluetooth, and media functionalities Understanding of Bluetooth profiles such as A2DP and HFP Experience with infotainment integration testing and end-user workflow validation
