As a Software Engineer Asc Manager for Assembly Test Launch Operations (ATLO) Test Labs and Services, you will lead a team of cross disciplinary Software/Hardware Integration Engineers to provide dedicated support for lab test needs including bench top, short term, and long-term testing in service of multiple programs across LM Space. Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:- Collaborating with ATLO leadership to drive test execution and deliver commitments within cost and schedule
- Determining priorities for team's efforts based on changing requirements, budgets, and schedules across many projects.
- Be responsible for leading and developing the team to fulfil test lab software needs, to develop and grow critical skills, and manage performance through Full Spectrum Leadership
- Be responsible for recruiting, training, career mentoring, and performance management of individual contributors
- Lead efforts to transform business practices through digital engineering and agile methodologies to optimize the enterprise
- Coordinate and work with other test design team leaders across ATLO Test labs to ensure a complete working solution
- Work with a wide range of LM Space program stakeholders to understand requirements for their Test Service Requests, provide cost estimates for services, and help refine right solutions with the team Generally, has 5+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
Basic Qualifications:
- Test software development experience or hardware-software Integration/test lab experience.
- Knowledge of software engineering principles and validation of requirements.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with the proven ability to communicate to customers, management, and support organizations in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability builds effective relationships and interacts with multiple high profile/high level customers.
- Project estimation for agile execution and delivery of products.
- Must be US citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret government security clearance
Desired Skills:
- Active DoD security clearance
- Previous experience as a Technical Lead of a software or systems engineering development team.
- Experience with Agile development, CI/CD, full software lifecycle (requirements through verification/validation), and DevSecOps.
- Experience with HW and/or SW Procurement and COTS integration
- Experience with data acquisition equipment, industrial control systems, instrumentation technologies for test measurement
- Experience with designing systems that comply with hazardous classification electrical codes that utilize intrinsic safety and/or explosion proof equipment
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Gitlab, MS Project, SharePoint
- Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very complex problems and implement constructive changes.
- Ability to define and document solutions to complex problems and to convey solutions to both senior management and subcontract teams

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $113,900 - $200,905. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.Benefits offered:

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
