Playwright Automation Tester Lead Location:

Full Time/Contract Job Description:
As an Automation Tester, you will be responsible for leveraging the Playwright-based automation framework-with AI-assisted coding support through GitHub Copilot-to conduct comprehensive regression and integration testing for the iPortal application and its downstream systems. Your role will be critical in ensuring that technical enhancements meet the highest standards of quality, resilience, and performance. The candidate will undertake the following job functions: Maintain and enhance Playwright automation suites for iPortal. Build new scripts for evolving requirements and integrations. Perform regression and integration testing on application changes. Integrate and optimize automated tests within CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with Dev and QA teams to identify and resolve issues. Leverage GitHub Copilot to accelerate and standardize scripting. Document results and provide improvement recommendations.
Skills / Experience
Required 10+ years of hands-on experience in functional and automation testing. Proficiency in Playwright for web application testing (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python). Strong understanding of modern automation testing frameworks and best practices. Experience integrating automated tests into a CI/CD pipeline (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate test development. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Prior experience with iPortal or similar enterprise applications is an advantage.
