Systems Test Engineer Location:
Bradenton, FL Base Salary Rate:
$86,216.00 to $101,430.00 Job type: Full-time About This Role As Systems Test Engineer you will be responsible for review, coordination and execution of all Design Integration and Validation Test activities. Key Responsibilities Represent Design Test Validation team throughout new product development process Define and develop Integration and Validation test scope, strategies and plans based on product functional requirements including software, hardware, communication, networking and regulatory agency requirements. Manage Design Integration and Validation test projects including test schedules, human and test equipment resources, design and build testing infrastructure, modify existing infrastructure and manage risks Specify, design and develop test automation tools using high level programing languages and hardware Review, approve and document test results to determine test acceptance Develop project budgets and capital cost requirements Drive effective corrective and preventive actions in response to validation, field and customer failures Provide mentoring and guidance to test technicians Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree 3+ years' experience as a Systems Test Engineer in Hardware, Firmware & Software design and testing environments. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent Excellent engineering documentation skills, verbal communication and presentation skills Strong background in Hardware, Firmware and Software design and testing environments IP Network test experience Large system or networked system test Fire alarm system products and markets Regulatory agency experience with UL, ULC, FM, CE and CPD Skilled use of standard lab equipment including oscilloscopes, meters, powers supplies and other measurement instruments Proven ability to support multiple projects in fast-paced deadline-driven environment Proficient with MS Office tools (Excel, WORD, MS Power Point, MS Project) Product validation or related fields Compensation and Benefits Individuals may be eligible for an annual performance bonus based on both individual and company's performance. The final compensation for this position will be set based on the individual's knowledge, skills, and experience as it relates to the job requirements.
