Sr. QA Engineer - INTL Nearshore

Job Description Senior QA Engineer focused on manual testing and data validation for internal, intranet-based applications. This role validates data loaded via Azure Data Factory into SQL-based systems, performs API testing using Postman, and ensures quality across multiple data-heavy applications. The position is approximately 70% technical execution and 30% business stakeholder interaction, requiring strong scope control, clear communication, and the ability to support a mixed Agile/Waterfall delivery environment. Day to Day

• Validate data after it is loaded into SQL-based systems
• Write SQL test queries to confirm data accuracy and completeness
• Perform manual testing of intranet applications
• Execute REST and

SOAP API

tests using Postman

• Create and maintain test cases and test scenarios
• Log defects, retest fixes, and provide quality recommendations
• Collaborate with developers, PMs, and application teams

• 5+ years of QA / software testing experience
• Strong manual testing background
• Experience testing intranet web applications (front-end and back-end)
• Experience validating data loads from Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Strong SQL skills to write test queries and validate loaded data
• API testing experience using Postman
• Experience testing REST and SOAP APIs
• Experience with functional, integration, end-to-end, and regression testing Strong communication skills with technical and business stakeholders
• Oracle query experience
• Exposure to test automation frameworks (future-state only)
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps Experience supporting multiple applications simultaneously
