A Software QA Engineer or Tester designs and runs in-depth diagnostic tests to evaluate software and check for problems before new products are marketed. Pilots software and applies tests to check for errors and glitches.
Support the product development and system integration processes by developing test procedures for automated execution, implementing tests using Hardware in the Loop equipment, documenting and reviewing execution reports, reporting incidents, and tracking software updates to fix issues. Develop expertise in software test design and vehicle functional partitioning, electrical and communication architectures, embedded software processes, and the Global Product Development System. Collaborate with feature owners, engineering, and suppliers to develop a strong understanding of vehicle functions and implement appropriate test design strategies for early identification of defects and to provide evidence of defect elimination. Reports to company headquarters in Jacksonville, FL. Roving employee - will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, IT/IS, Operations, Management (any), Data Analytics, Business (any) Analytics, Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronics or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained.
Must have demonstrated experience with:
V-model, ASPICE, ISO-26262 and AUTOSAR; Software Fuzzing verification and validation; HSIS, Python and Batch Scripting;Hardware Security Module testing; Polarion, Jira and Azure Git; automotive communication systems and protocols (SPI, LIN, XCP, UDS or CAN-FD); Automation Desk; Vector CANoe; CAPL scripting; and Diagnostic Service Identifiers (SID) by testing using CANoe tool. Salary offered for the position is: $130,520.00 - $151,320.00/year.
