Job Description
Required Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
Required Qualifications:
- The Systems Engineer - MPCS Validation is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing validation activities for the Modular Power Conversion System (MPCS) platform throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle
- This role ensures system functionality, safety, performance, cybersecurity, and customer requirements are fully validated before product release
- The engineer will work closely with software, controls, electrical, product support, quality, and program management teams to drive validation readiness, resolve issues, and support gateway milestones.
- Coordinate validation activities across software, controls, electrical, telematics, cybersecurity, product quality, and product support teams.
- Communicate validation status, risks, issues, and recommendations to program leadership.
- Mentor team members on validation methodologies, test execution, and system troubleshooting.
Required Technical Skills:
- Electrical Background
- Experience with Vector Tools (Canape, Canalyzer)

Matlab/SimulinkResponsibilities:
- Develop and maintain MPCS system validation plans aligned with program gateway milestones.
- Define validation scope, test strategies, and acceptance criteria for new features and system releases.
- Coordinate laboratory, HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop), endurance, integration, and field validation activities.
- Support validation of software releases, firmware updates, network communications, HMI functionality, and control algorithms.
- Track validation progress and ensure timely completion of test activities.
- Plans and execute MPCS validation activities for NPI and sustaining projects.
- Supports software integration, system troubleshooting, and root-cause investigations.
- Develops and validates features related to controls, communications, HMI functionality, and power system operation.
- Collaborates with electrical, controls, software, quality, cybersecurity, and product support teams.
- Drives issue resolutions and supports product gateway milestones to ensure successful product launches.
