Akkodis is seeking a Lead for a Contract job with a client in Naperville, IL . The ideal candidate must have extensive experience leading Banking and Financial Services testing initiatives, including End-to-End (E2E), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing.

Rate Range:

$38/hour to $40/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Lead job responsibilities include:

Lead and coordinate end-to-end testing, UAT, regression testing, and functional testing activities for banking applications. Develop test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and quality assurance approaches aligned with business and project objectives. Collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, and project managers to ensure complete test coverage and defect resolution. Manage defect tracking, reporting, and issue resolution using tools such as HP ALM, Jira, and Confluence. Define testing goals, quality metrics, and measurement plans to support continuous improvement and software quality initiatives. Analyze business and technical requirements, assess system functionality, and identify testing risks and quality concerns. Prepare and present testing status reports, quality dashboards, and release readiness updates to project stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or Test Management. Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Test Lead supporting Banking or Financial Services projects.

Strong experience with:

End-to-End Testing (E2E), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, Functional Testing, Defect Management, Test Planning & Execution Strong understanding of: SDLC Methodologies, Agile & Waterfall Frameworks, Test Metrics & Reporting, Software Quality Assurance Practices Hands-on experience with: HP ALM / Quality Center, Jira, Confluence, Postman, SoapUI, Maven, Git / Bitbucket Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting Digital Banking applications and platforms. Knowledge of Microsoft Test Management tools. Experience with AI and Automation Testing initiatives.
