Lead Contractor place Napperville, Illinois calendar_today 23 Apr 2026 Akkodis is seeking a Lead for a Contract with a client in Naperville, IL. The ideal candidate is driving high‑quality delivery in banking and financial systems through rigorous QA governance and testing excellence.

Rate Range:

$22/hour to $44/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Lead Job Responsibilities include: Lead and manage end‑to‑end testing activities for banking and financial applications, ensuring adherence to quality standards and business requirements. Define test strategies, objectives, metrics, and measurement plans aligned with SDLC methodologies (Agile and Waterfall). Coordinate functional, system, and regression testing efforts, including oversight of automated testing frameworks. Utilize test management and collaboration tools such as HP ALM/Quality Center, JIRA, and Confluence to plan, track, and report testing progress. Analyze test results, compile detailed reports, and communicate quality status and risks to stakeholders. Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and defect triage to ensure timely resolution and high‑quality software delivery.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience as a Test Lead, with hands‑on involvement in banking or financial domain projects. Strong expertise in IT QA, functional testing, SDLC methodologies (Agile/Waterfall), and testing metrics, with proven experience using tools such as HP ALM/Quality Center, JIRA, and Confluence. Demonstrated experience leading testing efforts in the banking or financial services domain, including test strategy definition, reporting, and coordination of automated and manual testing activities. Pay Details:
