Software QA

Description Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test cases/plans for embedded software applications
• Declare a user story "Done"
• Update quality metrics
• Validate software works to customer requirements
• Participate in release content discussion - estimates Accountabilities
• Continuous individual improvement
• Collaborate with Systems Engineers and Business Analysts on all engineering documentation, including requirements, specifications, design, code and validation.
• Collaborate with Software Developers on test cases, test plans, etc.
• Investigate issues Deliverables
• Test plans
• Quality metrics Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience with product development in an Agile environment
• Troubleshooting systems and software
• Experience with GPS positioning, wireless networks (Wi-Fi), TCP/IP, UDP/IP, TLS/SSL
• Experience with embedded computers with Linux operating system
• Experience using scripting languages (e.g. Python) and Robot Framework Top Candidates Will Have
• Requires a degree in an accredited Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science curriculum.

Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Peoria, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
