Functional Automation Tester (Westchester, IL, 60154) | 09/11/26 Job Description Need locals who can work from client office 3 days a week
Position:
Functional Automation Tester Location:
Westchester, IL Duration:
6 Months Strong understanding of QE fundamentals, test case design, defect management, and STLC processes.
Hands-on experience in Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Preferable domains - Retail/insurance/automobile
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with in-depth knowledge of Jira and/or Azure DevOps.
Ability to analyze business requirements, create test scenarios, execute test cases, and report defects effectively.
Basic knowledge of SQL for backend validation and API testing exposure is desirable.
Hands on Playwright experience is highly preferred
Strong communication and stakeholder interaction skills
