1+ Years Position Overview We are seeking an ambitious Software QA Engineer II to join our Endovascular Robotics business within Advanced Therapies. This team develops robotic-assisted vascular intervention technology combining endovascular robotics, image guidance, and dedicated medical devices to improve procedural outcomes and access to care. Key Responsibilities Develop, document, and execute test cases for application and embedded software. Identify, document, and track software defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues using bug-tracking systems. Collaborate with developers, hardware engineers, and product managers to understand software requirements. Analyze test results and provide feedback to engineering teams. Recommend improvements to enhance software performance, reliability, and quality. Support testing activities for safety-critical software and hardware systems. Preferred Qualifications Experience testing safety-critical software systems, preferably in medical devices, automotive, or other regulated industries. Familiarity with FDA regulations and medical software development standards, particularly
IEC 62304.
Experience working in regulated product development environments. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of software QA/testing experience, particularly with application software and hardware systems. Familiarity with communication protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, Serial, and UART. Programming experience with C, C++, or Python, particularly for test automation. Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN. Experience with continuous integration/development tools such as Azure DevOps. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
