We are seeking a Senior Building Automation Controls Engineer to lead the delivery of high-quality BAS solutions for commercial and institutional projects. This is a hands-on, technical leadership role ideal for a controls professional who thrives in both engineering and field environments.
What You'll Do:
Develop and program DDC systems (Schneider EcoStruxure preferred; BACnet, Niagara/Tridium experience welcome) Review and implement Sequences of Operation (SOO) Troubleshoot BAS/BMS networks and HVAC control systems Lead system start-up, testing, commissioning, and customer training Oversee subcontractor installations and ensure specification compliance Serve as technical lead and mentor junior engineers/technicians Support project meetings, documentation, and close-out activities
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of commercial Building Automation / HVAC Controls experience Strong programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting skills Solid understanding of HVAC systems, electronics, and networked controls Knowledge of construction practices and industry standards Ability to work independently while collaborating with project teams Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset
