Systems Test Engineer (VoIP)
Location:
Frederick, MD Coppell, TX Pay Range:
$43-73/hr A client of Insight Global's is seeking an experienced System Test Engineer with a background in VoIP engineering to support a federal program in the Frederick, MD or Coppell, TX areas. This role is supporting a large FAA program focused on modernizing voice communications within air traffic control.
Responsibilities include:
Deploying and testing IP based voice communication systems Support development plans according to program requirements Create and execute test cases Generate test reports, problem/defect reports, mitigation plans Work with the design team to maintain verification requirements traceability matrix (VRTM)
Requirements:
BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or relevant 4+ years of Systems Test experience (executing test programs) Configuring and Analyzing VoIP networks Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Linux (Oracle), and VMs Ability to travel to project sites to assist with deployment and training (up to 50%)
