Job Description
We are seeking a Java Automation Developer for a 6-month contract engagement in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In this role, you will build automation infrastructure from scratch, bridging software development and quality assurance. You will take ownership of validating backend microservices, REST APIs, and customer-facing UI web applications, working closely with cross-functional Scrum teams to incorporate test automation directly into CI/CD pipelines. Responsibilities Design and build scalable automated test infrastructure from the ground up Develop and maintain automation for backend microservices and REST APIs Create and execute automated tests for customer-facing UI web applications Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines Collaborate with cross-functional Scrum teams on quality assurance and validation strategies Qualifications Required Strong background in Java development Experience with API testing Experience with Postman Experience with Spring Boot 2 Ability to build automation solutions from scratch
