Job Description
Job Summary Our client a leading communications provider is seeking a Lead Automation Tester to join their team! This position is located in Maryland Heights, Missouri. Core Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Junit and Cucumber (BDD) tests for web application testing Collaborate with development and product teams to create automated tests for functional, regression, and performance testing Develop, execute, and maintain test cases to ensure software meets business requirements and quality standards Utilize Java and JavaScript for creating automation test frameworks and scripts Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues Improve the test suite by implementing best practices and optimizing test performance Ensure proper integration of the test automation suite with the CI/CD pipeline Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code standards Keep up with the latest trends and technologies in test automation Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) Proven experience in test automation with Selenium, JUnit, and Cucumber Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, and Python Experience with XPath (XML Path Language) Experience in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation Solid understanding of testing methodologies and Agile/Scrum practices Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves) Familiarity with additional test automation tools and frameworks Knowledge of version control systems like Git Java programming language Key Competencies & Behaviors Strategic planning skills Creative problem solving skills Mentorship and team development skills
