Piper Companies is seeking an Insurance Systems Quality Engineer to join a leading insurance and financial services organization. The Insurance Systems Quality Engineer will support testing efforts for policy administration systems, focusing on data validation, file-based testing, and calculation verification for life insurance and annuity products. The Insurance Systems Quality Engineer is a direct placement with the company and requires you to work on site Tuesday-Thursday in Durham, NC. Responsibilities of the
Insurance Systems Quality Engineer:
Perform manual and automated testing of policy administration systems. Execute file-based testing, data validation, and reconciliation activities. Verify policy, premium, and financial calculations for accuracy. Support testing related to Oracle GL, payroll, and financial processes. Develop test cases, document results, and track defects. Partner with business and technical teams to ensure quality deliverables. Requirements of the
Insurance Systems Quality Engineer:
Bachelor's Degree required. 4-10 years of QA experience (12 years maximum). Background in life insurance products and/or annuities. Experience testing policy administration systems or knowledge of Oracle GL, payroll, or financial systems. Strong experience with data testing, file validation, and calculation verification. Manual testing experience required; automation experience preferred. Compensation for the
Insurance Systems Quality Engineer:
$100,000 - $125,000 base salary
