Job Description:
Trilliant is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and serve as a key technical leader in scaling robust hardware test solutions across global manufacturing partners. This role will own the architecture, deployment, and continuous optimization of test systems to ensure world-class product quality, reliability, and field performance over the product lifecycle. You will drive cross-functional initiatives to resolveplex product and manufacturing issues while delivering measurable improvements in first-pass yield, final yield, and test efficiency. The position requires deep collaboration with product, hardware, and firmware engineering teams, as well as direct engagement with contract manufacturers to develop, standardize, and sustain high-volume, production-ready test infrastructure for Trilliant products.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test plans for product validation, NPI, and production testing Support contract manufacturers in developing, deploying, and sustaining production test stations Troubleshot test equipment and product failures, and led root cause analysis Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance first-pass yield, final yield, and cycle time Support production to meet quality, cost, and schedule targets Analyze test data to improve yield, reliability, and test efficiency Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to define test strategies Maintain and optimize procedures and documentation
Position Requirement:
5+ years of experience in hardware test engineering, validation, or manufacturing test environments Strong expertise in troubleshootingplex hardware and test system issues, with a track record of driving root cause and corrective actions Hands-on experience supporting contract manufacturers, including development and sustainment of production test stations Demonstrated success in improving manufacturing metrics such as first-pass yield, final yield, and test cycle time Strong proficiency in test automation tools and programming (e.g., LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, LabWindows/CVI) Experience with data analysis, statistical methods, and reliability engineering techniques Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across Product, Hardware, Firmware, Manufacturing, and Quality teams Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers or technicians in a production environment
Educations/Certifications:
