This is an Onsite position in Richmond, VA. You must be able to work onsite from day One of the contract.
Capstone IT is helping our client to find a Quality Analyst who will combine business systems analysis, software quality assurance, and test automation to ensure technology solutions meet business needs. Depending on experience, this position can range from an early-career analyst working under senior guidance to a senior-level Quality Analyst independently solving complex systems problems, aligning technology with business strategy, and mentoring less-experienced analysts.
The Quality Analyst will research businessuser needs, document requirements, create and execute test plans, identify and track defects, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with business and IT teams. More experienced candidates will identify opportunities for test automation and develop or enhance automation frameworks using technologies such as Playwright, Selenium, Java, and TypeScript.

Responsibilities
Research business and user needs and identify root causes of problems.
Document business requirements and recommend system modifications.

Qualifications
Candidates should bring strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. The client emphasizes self-starters who can manage competing priorities and build trust with business customers.
For QA2 and QA3, you will need proficiency with HTML, XML, Java, and TypeScript, along with familiarity with React or Next.js.
A bachelor's degree is expected, preferably in Business, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Mathematics, although approximately four years of related progressive experience may substitute for the degree.
