Job Description
Quality Assurance Technician
•Food Manufacturing
•3rd shift
Location:
Brockport, NY Current available shifts: 3rd shift: 11pm
•7am, Mon-Fri (Overtime every other Saturday during peak season)
Pay:
$22/hr, depending on shift differential
Duration:
Temp to Hire Opportunity (conversion for high performers after approximately 3 months) Position Overview Completes grade/audit of all product lines running at intervals not to exceed 30 minutes unless authorized by Quality Assurance Supervisor. Performs routine monitoring of package weights, and documents findings electronically using the appropriate system/software. Consults the daily production schedule to ensure accurate production. Key Responsibilities You'll invest the majority of your time in these key areas: The primary role of a quality analyst is to audit all quality elements of the products that we produce, (Product Grade, Package/Case Coding, Package Weights, etc.) at intervals not to exceed 30 minutes. All findings are electronically documented using the appropriate system/software. Consults the daily production schedule to ensure accurate production. All products produced must meet stringent Federal and State Food Safety guidelines and requirements. Qualifications & Skills Must have High School Diploma or equivalency (HSE/GED) Cooperative, responsible attitude towards all personnel and equipment within the facility. Ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to effectively communicate with others Excellent Attention to detail. Basic understanding of statistical weight analysis to include maximum allowable variance, average, mean, median, etc. Ability to learn and utilize computerized quality systems programs and software.
