Test Engineer (Automation/Manual) Ampcus, Inc - United States, York, White Plains Sep 09, 2026

Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team. Project Overview The need is to support testing for BAU initiatives and backfill partly for Testing Luminate resource. Job Functions & Responsibilities The Test Engineer will play a key role in supporting the testing activities on the project, reviewing vendor test activities and deliverables. Facilitate automation testing in Tricentis Tosca with DEX environment

Create, update, and support automation scripts using Tricentis Tosca

Develop and execute manual and automated test cases

Implement test strategies, plans, and frameworks across our initiatives

Support defect management and triage issues

Create and review functional test plans, scenarios, and scripts

Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and UAT testing

Leverage AI-driven testing tools for test generation and defect prediction

Support testing of AI/ML models, including output validation and data quality checks

Collaborate in creating Technical Requirements documents

Create Requirements Traceability Matrix

Assist team with stakeholder communications

Prepare weekly status reports, meeting agendas, materials, and minutes for weekly meetings

Skills 10 years of applicable experience as a test automation engineer

Strong experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts in Tricentis Tosca using TCD approach

Extensive experience in integration testing including API

Extensive experience in defect tracking and reporting

Hands-on experience in CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps

Ability to write and execute SQL queries to validate data in databases

Familiarity with different types of databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB)

Experience in performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling

Knowledgeable with waterfall and agile methodology

Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, RestAssured, or Karate

Understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and DOM

Knowledge of browser developer tools for debugging and inspecting web elements

Experience in

SAP/S4 HANA

testing especially ISU- Utilities, SAP

FICO, SAP MM, SAP SD

is a plus

Knowledge with mobile testing frameworks and tools like Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or Robot Framework is a plus

Understanding of mobile OS platforms (iOS, Android)

Proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used in test automation, such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, Ruby, or VBScript would be a plus

Knowledge of version controlling like GitHub repository is a plus

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Education & Certifications BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited school, or equivalent

Testing certifications like ISTQB, Tricentis TOSCA certifications are highly preferred
