9 Must Have Technical/Functional Skills • Guidewire Certified • Must have at least 10 years work experience in Guidewire testing â€" Policy Center, Claims Center and Jutro • Must have experience in Property and Casualty Insurance domain • Should be able to perform hands on testing in Guidewire and leading a team of offshore testers • Proven experience in creating end-to-end test strategies for big programs • Excellent communication, coordination with project stakeholders, business, & offshore teams • Should be able to additionally drive automation, performance, data testing, integrations, and reporting tracks
Roles & Responsibilities Test Lead:
Â
Develop and implement test strategy ensuring alignment with business objectives and project timelines.
Test Planning & Execution:
Â
Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed test plans, test strategy documents, test evaluation reports, and accurate effort estimations. Â
Manage and oversee the execution of system integration testing (SIT), functional testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production support.
Stakeholder Management & Communication:
Â
Serve as the primary point of contact for all testing-related activities, maintaining clear and consistent communication with business SMEs, scrum masters, development teams, and senior leadership. Â
Provide regular status reports, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation strategies. Â
Facilitate effective collaboration and ensure alignment among all stakeholders.
Quality Assurance & Risk Management:
Â
Establish and enforce quality standards to ensure all project deliverables meet or exceed expectations. Â
Identify and proactively address potential risks, developing and implementing effective mitigation plans. Â
Make go/no-go decisions based off test results and the toll gate criteria.
Team Leadership:
Â
Lead a team of offshore testers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
