full-time Insight Global is eeking an experienced QA Lead to support systems testing with a strong focus on ETL and database testing. This is a hands-on quality assurance role responsible for validating data across systems, leading testing activities, and supporting both manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate will have strong ETL/data validation and SQL experience, along with exposure to test automation and API testing. Responsibilities Lead QA and testing activities for ETL and data-driven applications Perform ETL, database, and source-to-target data validation Write and execute SQL queries to validate data accuracy and transformations Develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test cases Perform API testing and automation, preferably using REST Assured Identify, document, and track defects through resolution Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA engineers Help define test strategy, test plans, test scenarios, and quality standards Support Agile development and testing processes Provide technical guidance to QA team members Required Qualifications 10+ years of QA/software testing experience Strong hands-on ETL and database testing experience Strong SQL skills and experience validating backend data Experience with test automation Experience testing REST APIs Experience working in Agile environments Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira and Zephyr or similar tools Ability to lead testing efforts while remaining technically hands-on Preferred Skills REST Assured for API automation Selenium automation Playwright experience Python Kafka knowledge GitHub / GitHub Actions BDD / Cucumber TestNG / Maven Confluence / Point Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who is more than a general QA Lead. The strongest candidate will have significant hands-on experience testing ETL processes, databases, and data transformations, be comfortable writing SQL, and have enough automation/API experience to work effectively in a modern QA environment.
