Job Title Software Test Automation Engineer-C++, C# (Orange, OH) Job Description Software Test Automation Engineer Play an integral role in shortening critical healthcare software development cycles and feedback loops through rapid release by providing related testing, orchestration and automation Your role: Collaborate with software developers and cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, system functionality, and software specifications. Support the development and execution of automated testing strategies that help accelerate software development cycles and release timelines. Design, develop, and maintain automated test plans, test cases, and validation protocols for healthcare software applications. Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing activities to ensure software quality, reliability, and compliance. Document testing results, defects, observations, and troubleshooting activities in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Work closely with engineering teams to investigate, analyze, and resolve software issues identified during verification and validation efforts. Participate in software risk analysis and mitigation activities to support product safety, reliability, and overall system performance. Contribute to the continuous improvement of software testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and quality processes. Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, best automation practices, and regulatory requirements related to medical device software development and testing. Help drive innovation in testing, orchestration, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. You're the right fit if: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field required; equivalent professional experience may also be considered. Strong foundation in software testing principles and software development lifecycle processes preferred. Experience with software test automation, orchestration techniques, build automation, and continuous integration workflows. Familiarity with software configuration management tools such as Git preferred. 3+ years of experience with databases, SQL, and scripting/programming languages including C#, Python, Perl, PowerShell, or similar technologies. Ability to develop and maintain automated test scripts and support testing infrastructure activities. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional Agile development teams. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced technical environment. Passion for quality, automation, and improving software development efficiency is highly valued. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Philips Transparency Details The pay range for this position in Orange, Ohio is $73,000 to $118,000.00 The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
