About the Opportunity We are seeking a hands-on Software QA Engineer to help ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of web-based engineering software. This position is ideal for a technically curious QA professional who enjoys testing software, identifying problems before they reach customers, and working directly with developers to improve products. The right candidate will also help expand test automation, improve QA processes, and support SOC 2 compliance activities. This is a versatile role offering independence, ownership, and the opportunity to make a direct impact on both product quality and the customer experience. What You'll Do Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and testing procedures Perform functional, regression, integration, and release testing for web-based applications Create, maintain, and improve automated test scripts Identify opportunities to increase testing efficiency through automation and process improvements Work closely with developers throughout the software development lifecycle Manage QA activities throughout the software release process Identify, document, troubleshoot, and clearly communicate software defects Assist with SOC 2 compliance documentation, controls, testing, and audit preparation Help maintain accurate QA, security, and compliance records Provide technical support and assistance to customers Review and contribute to product documentation and training materials Write technical content, including articles and blog posts Support product enhancements and other non-coding initiatives Collaborate across teams to improve product quality and the overall customer experience What We're Looking For Experience in software quality assurance and testing Experience testing web-based applications Knowledge of automated testing and test-script development Experience creating test plans, test cases, and testing procedures Understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies Experience with defect tracking, documentation, and troubleshooting Knowledge of regression, functional, integration, and release testing Familiarity with SOC 2 compliance requirements and controls Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Experience with technical documentation or customer-facing support is a plus Why Join Us?
