IT Tester

A financial services organization is seeking an IT Tester for a hybrid role in Vienna, Virginia. This position supports enterprise testing efforts by validating application functionality, documenting defects, and helping ensure quality across system enhancements and implementations.  About the

Responsibilities:

Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for enterprise applications Create, update, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and supporting testing documentation Analyze business and system requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage Identify, document, track, and troubleshoot defects, issues, and testing results Partner with business stakeholders, developers, and project teams to support testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle

Qualifications:

Experience performing functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for enterprise applications Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for test case management, test execution, defect tracking, requirements traceability, and test reporting Experience creating, executing, and maintaining test cases and test scenarios Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, Software Testing Life Cycle, and project lifecycles Ability to analyze business and system requirements and translate them into testing activities Experience documenting defects, test results, and testing metrics Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field Experience working in Agile environments Experience supporting financial services or enterprise environments Familiarity with system integrations, reporting validation, and end-to-end testing Experience using test management and defect tracking tools
