Position Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented IT QA Tester to support a high-visibility Security Portfolio encompassing Information Security, Security Compliance, and Physical Security initiatives. This role is ideal for professionals experienced in Agile testing environments, with a strong foundation in test planning, defect management, and cross-functional collaboration. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of security-related applications and systems by driving end-to-end testing efforts, supporting deployments, and working closely with both technical and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather, analyze, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements for testing Design, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts Track and manage defects, test execution, and user stories using Azure DevOps (ADO) Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (Scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives) Manage and maintain Agile boards to ensure accurate tracking of testing progress Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors Support deployment testing for system enhancements, upgrades, and new technology implementations Document processes, testing procedures, and provide clear reporting and recommendations Build and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate testing status and insights
Required Skills:
Proven experience as a QA Tester / Test Analyst in Agile or hybrid environments Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for test and defect management Solid understanding of Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies Experience in data analysis, data mapping, and validation testing Ability to test and validate functional and non-functional requirements Experience supporting security-focused applications (Information Security, Compliance, etc.) Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or similar) Exposure to Pega platforms is a plus Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment About Seneca Resources At Seneca Resources, we are more than just a staffing and consulting firm, we are a trusted career partner.
