Job Details Skills Automation Automation Summary Initially for 2-3 months tester would work on manual testing and later it would be automation testing Key Responsibilities 6-8 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing Strong hands-on experience in manual testing, test case development, test planning, defect management, and QA processes Good understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and industry best practices. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing of applications. Experience working with API testing tools such as Postman or similar tools. Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms. Able to write SQL query if needed for backend testing / data preparation Review requirements and work closely with Product and Business teams to clarify requirements, identify gaps, and ensure adequate test coverage. Collaborate with Development teams to understand technical changes, troubleshoot issues, and validate defect fixes. Identify, document, track, and manage defects through resolution using appropriate defect management tools. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Establish and follow QA processes, standards, best practices, and quality metrics. Ensure appropriate testing activities are incorporated throughout the software development lifecycle. Provide regular updates on testing progress, defects, risks, and overall quality status to project stakeholders. Conduct application/product demos and communicate testing outcomes and product readiness to relevant stakeholders. Work with cross-functional teams to identify risks and proactively address quality issues. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, testing methodologies, and overall product quality. Support release validation and production readiness activities. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
