Job Description

Our client, a global leader in Industrial Automation and Control Systems, is seeking a Product Security Test Engineer to join their team. As a Product Security Test Engineer, you will be part of the Development Test Engineering team supporting Product Security, Software Development, and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

  • Based on Experience What's the Job?
Design, develop, and maintain security test automation to support CI/DevOps product development. Perform vulnerability assessments and security research on industrial automation products. Conduct penetration testing, fuzz testing, protocol analysis, and security validation to identify product vulnerabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve product security and support secure software development. Document security findings, recommend remediation strategies, and stay current on emerging cybersecurity threats and attack techniques. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Experience with Python scripting, networking, Windows/Linux environments, and software development fundamentals. Knowledge of application security testing, penetration testing methodologies, and security tools such as Burp Suite, Wireshark, Metasploit, Nmap, or similar. Experience with C++, DevOps/CI environments, reverse engineering, fuzz testing, or industrial protocols (CIP, EtherNet/IP, Modbus, Profinet) is highly preferred. Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a collaborative engineering environment. What's in it for me?
