Job Description
Work closely with the scrum master, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders in an Agile development environment. Design test cases and test execution, identify defects and work in agile methodology. Strong analytical skills, attention to details and knowledge of testing methodologies. Understand the Features and User stories and clarify any questions with the team, provide estimates. Review user stories and requirements to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Log, track and prioritize defects in JIRA. Perform database testing by writing and executing SQL queries. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities. Ability to design, develop and execute automation scripts using testing tools, such as Cucumber or Selenium. Identify, record, document thoroughly and track issues. Participate in Agile iterative development activities with development team. Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field and 7 years' experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, Software QA Engineer, QA Analyst, EDI Analyst or related occupation. Also requires 2 years of experience with software quality assurance, with a strong focus on test automation; Various testing framework; Proficiency in Java programming, specifically Java or higher; Behavior-Driven Development (BDD); Version control systems like GitHub; CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins; Development environments like Eclipse; Software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC) phases; agile methodologies;
