We are at the forefront of New England's ongoing transition to clean energy. Join a team supporting and enhancing mission-critical ISO New England applications in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The Software Test Engineer (SDET) designs and delivers automated test strategies for UI and API applications. You will partner with Business Analysts and Developers to build automated tests, integrate them into CI/CD pipelines, execute results-driven test runs, and mentor junior testers/consultants.

A stable, mission-driven workplace where your impact truly matters A highly engaged work environment that values inclusion, collaboration, and employee safety and wellbeing Competitive compensation with a base salary + performance bonus Robust benefits package, including: Enhanced 401(k) and financial planning support Tuition reimbursement and professional development Wellness programs, including an onsite gym Flexible work hours Employee Business Networks Free coffee at our onsite café Hybrid work environment (3 days/week onsite) Distance-based relocation assistance available How you will make an Impact Build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks Create, run, and improve automated tests to raise release quality Review acceptance criteria and test cases with Business Analysts Partner with Developers to improve test coverage, scope, and process Implement best practices to optimize automated testing efficiency and effectiveness Stay current on testing tools and emerging technologies Mentor junior testers/consultants through coaching and knowledge sharing What you need to be successful Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience 5+ years in software testing with hands-on test automation for web applications and APIs Experience with Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress; BDD tools such as Cucumber a plus Programming skills in Java plus scripting in Python or JavaScript; working knowledge of SQL Ability to design and maintain automated tests from functional and non-functional requirements Strong communication skills and experience working with BAs, Developers, and stakeholders Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins) and supporting continuous delivery Mentoring or technical leadership experience for junior QA/SDET team members Strong troubleshooting skills (root cause analysis for test failures) and attention to detail Experience with QA/Dev tools such as Git, Jira, JUnit/TestNG, and Postman Preferred Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes or ECS) Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) Agile delivery (Scrum or Kanban) Cloud experience (AWS preferred) ISTQB certification SDET boot camp or similar certification This employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position (ex: H-1B, F-1/CPT/OPT, O-1, E-3, TN, J, etc.). The expected salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per year.
