Job Description:
Overview We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join a growing engineering team based in Tempe, AZ. This role will focus on designing, building, and scaling automated testing frameworks to support modern application development. This is a hands-on position suited for someone who enjoys building automation from the ground up and partnering closely with development and DevOps teams.
Important Requirements:
Candidates must currently reside in the greater Phoenix/Tempe area This is an onsite/hybrid role based in Tempe, AZ No Corp-to-Corp (C2C) engagements are permitted for this position Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications Build and execute end-to-end, regression, and integration test suites Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines Identify gaps in test coverage and implement scalable solutions Troubleshoot test failures and improve overall test reliability Contribute to QA strategy, tooling decisions, and best practices Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in QA Automation or SDET roles Strong experience with modern automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium Experience building or significantly enhancing automation frameworks Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred) Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices Experience working in Agile environments Preferred Qualifications Experience with Mabl (strong bonus, not required) Experience with low-code or AI-driven testing tools Exposure to API testing and performance testing Scripting experience in JavaScript, Python, or similar What We're Looking For A builder mindset - someone who can create and improve automation, not just maintain it Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering teams Someone who can quickly learn new tools and adapt to evolving environments Additional Details Must be authorized to work in the United States Must be able to work onsite in Tempe, AZ as required W2 engagement only - C2C arrangements are not available for this opportunity
