Software Test Engineer Location:
Murrysville, Pennsylvania (Hybrid)
Job Summary:
We are seeking motivated professionals to support our client's dynamic team, focusing on quality and reliability for advanced medical device software. Our team is dedicated to driving compliance, innovation, and excellence through rigorous embedded software testing.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for embedded software applications used in medical devices. Conduct manual testing to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and project requirements. Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to drive streamlined and efficient testing processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects, contributing to all stages of the product development lifecycle.
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with 8+ years of experience. Demonstrated experience in embedded software testing for medical devices or safety-critical systems, or prior client product experience in development/testing. Proficiency in Python, C, C++, and/or C# with specific expertise in C# object-oriented programming for test automation. Strong knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies, manual test case design and execution, automation tools and frameworks, and SDLC methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
