Pay:
$44.00 /hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match Overview Software Test Engineer needed to verify VoIP software applications integrated with LMR systems. The role involves working in an Agile environment to improve software quality across the full development lifecycle, with a focus on test automation, design review, and collaboration with developers. Key Responsibilities Work in an Agile environment to improve software quality across the full development lifecycle. Participate in design and functional requirement reviews; develop and present test plans. Create and maintain test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing. Partner with developers during design to ensure feature testability. Drive automation efforts and adopt emerging testing technologies. Perform independent work while collaborating effectively; communicate clearly. Required Skills 5+ years manual and/or automated testing experience in Agile environments. 2+ years hands-on experience with: Testing in Windows Server environments
Tools:
Python, PowerShell, Jenkins, Ansible, Selenium (experience with one or more) Log analysis/troubleshooting using
Wireshark Virtualization:
ESXi or
RHEL-KVM
Networking protocol fundamentals Ability to build test plans and test cases using TestRail or Azure DevOps Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and Agile tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related) or equivalent experience. Required Education No Education Requirements Preferred Skills Experience with analog or digital Push-to-Talk (PTT) radio systems.
