Summary:

Seeking Software Verification & Validation Engineers to test and verify existing software code against DO-178 aerospace software standards. This position focuses on C++ software verification, testing, and confirming compliance with established software requirements in a safety-critical engineering environment. Requirements Hands-on DO-178 software verification and validation experience , including familiarity with aerospace software compliance requirements. Strong C++ experience , including the ability to understand, analyze, and test existing code. Practical software V&V/testing experience , including validating code behavior against defined requirements. Responsibilities Test and verify existing C++ software to confirm expected functionality and compliance with DO-178 standards. Identify and document software discrepancies, failed tests, and potential compliance issues. Collaborate with software engineering and verification teams to investigate issues and support completion of verification activities. Important Notes Hybrid opportunity in the Marion area, IA. The actual worksite is in the surrounding area, not necessarily Marion itself. ITAR Position Requires 1-2 weeks onsite per month , with the remaining weeks worked remotely. Monday-Friday, approximately 8 AM-5 PM , with overtime anticipated based on project needs.

Estimated Pay:
