Sr. Automation Business Analyst/Automation Developer

Hybrid $118082.00 - $120000.00 per Year 3 Years Experience Master's degree No Commission 40.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Full-Time Description Collaborate closely with Business Process Owners and Process Excellence Team members to gain comprehensive insight into processes earmarked for automation. Outline affected processes and stipulate business requirements. Engage with cross-functional teams to produce business requirement documentation for the targeted process automation. Ensure that it is easily understood by business users and can be effectively communicated to RPA solution design and development teams. Assist RPA and Technical Team members in planning and executing RPA and other Automation projects. Evaluate the value (ROI) of processes in coordination with Business Units. Liaise between the business and Automation team to identify and offer support for solution designs pertaining to production issues and enhancements. Identify the scope, benefits, constraints, and risks associated with automation initiatives. Document existing manual processes. Identify and document best practices for sustained automation adoption. Organize sessions with stakeholders to elicit and define requirements. Consider the implications of change management in the implementation of new automation processes. Generate essential business analysis artifacts, adhering to industry best practices and utilizing appropriate tools, for the design, solution, and execution of medium and large-scale projects. Document and diagram the current environment and data flows. Gather non-functional requirements, encompassing security, capacity performance, and availability. Serve as a liaison between business and technical resources. Propose 'to-be' process map designs utilizing Cross-functional flowcharts. Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements. Conduct process diagnostics and identify opportunities for improvement. Define requirements, creating user stories (if following Agile methodology) or BRD or Disaggregation sheets (for RPA). Assist in the design, documentation, and maintenance of system processes. Develop Business Case and ROI documentation for review and approval submissions. May work from home.

Required expertise/knowledge includes:
Experience in identifying automation opportunities across global HR processes which include onboarding, payroll, employee data management, and compliance reporting. Skilled in collaborating with HR stakeholders and SMEs to gather business, technical, and compliance requirements and translate them into automation-ready process maps and documentation. Skilled in designing scalable automation solutions using UiPath and Microsoft Power Automate, aligned with HR transformation goals and compliance standards. Expertise in developing custom automation components and integrations using UiPath, Python, C# to support complex HR workflows and system interoperability. Experience in automating Workday processes using Workday APIs, including data extraction, transaction automation, and integration with external systems. Skilled in leveraging ServiceNow APIs for automating ticketing, change requests, and HR case management workflows. Experience in preparing and maintaining documentation which include Process Design Documents (PDDs), Solution Design Documents (SDDs), UAT scripts, and Change Requests in ServiceNow. Experience in using SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis to support automation logic and reporting. Skilled in building Power BI dashboards to visualize HR metrics, automation performance, and compliance indicators. Experience with applying new UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform modules, including agentic automation capabilities, and actively sharing relevant updates and enhancements with the team to promote awareness of evolving technical resources. Experience in using AI-powered process discovery tools which include Uipath Process Mining, Communication to identify automation candidates and optimize existing HR workflows. Knowledge of automation governance, version control, and compliance frameworks to ensure secure, auditable, and maintainable automation deployments. Experience with monitoring bot performance, analyzing logs and metrics, and implementing continuous improvements based on feedback and evolving business needs.
