Job Duties:
INSPYR Solutions, LLC in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking Test Engineer to develop and execute software tests to identify software problems and their causes. Job responsibilities and duties include:
1. Developing a robust test automation framework through identification and documentation of problems with program function, output, online screen, or content. 2. Ensuring automation tests are robust and fully tested. 3. Enhancing and improving automation framework by utilizing technology such as RADAR for bug tracking. 4. Designing software testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. 5. Reviewing software tests, identifying bugs, and prioritizing fixes by level of importance and urgency. 6. Ensuring application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and application design expected at end client by using Java/Python and object-oriented programming concepts. 7. Reviewing and monitoring performance of helper functions to ensure system effectiveness and accuracy. 8. Partnering with cross functional teams to gather requirements and convert them into scalable automation solutions. 9. Obtaining and evaluating information on factors such as technical issues, system limitations, reporting formats required, costs, and/ or security needs. 10. Coordinating installation of new software and training users to use new or modified equipment if needed. 11. Create and maintain databases of known defects. 12. Engaging and communicating with engineering teams to enable better code quality, testability, and release. This position does not supervise any personnel or participate in any management decisions, nor does this position plan, direct, or coordinate the activities of any personnel. REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) in which the required experience was gained. Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following: 1. Manual and automation testing 2. Testing iOS applications 3. Running automated test scripts 4. SQL for writing queries 5. Linux and server-side testing Additional Information:

No Travel required. This position is project-based, and job duties are performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated sites within the U.S. which may require relocation at the end of each project.
