Job Description
Overview Nakupuna Companies is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to provide software performance testing, data collection and analysis, subject matter expertise, and requirements gathering. The Quality Engineer will conduct quality testing on the DHA's WebMRE platform to ensure optimal performance for the client. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for assessing software functionality and performance through both manual and automatedtesting. The QA Engineer will gather and compile test metric data. Using this data, they will draft reports on the functionality and performance of the WebMRE software and will distribute these reports to the developers and client. The Quality Engineer should be comfortable working in an agile environment, resolving complex problems if and when they arise. Collaboration with the development team will be a common aspect of the position, and the Quality Engineer should be comfortable with data sharing and information sharing across teams. Reviews software requirements and specifications to develop and execute testing strategies for a product or release. Codes reusable test functions or components. Executes manual as well as automated tests to assess software functionality and performance using multiple systems, platforms, environments, or browsers. Identifies, logs, and track defects. Reports technical issues to development or product management teams and verifies fixes. Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses solid working knowledge of Quality Engineering processes.
