TITLE:

Associate Director Test Engineering

JOB DUTIES

Serve as a member of the Enterprise Test Engineering team, responsible for the development, maintenance and execution of Functional Test Scripts. Works closely in the design and development of test automation tools, collaborates with the entire squad in understanding the functional and technical design. Monitors adherence to test management best practices including the usage of JIRA, ALM and BitBucket. Work with both business clients and technical teams. Acts in an advisory role to other test engineers.

Primary Responsibilities:

Analyzes and proposes improvements to automated and manual processes. Supports and drives continuous improvement for squad, processes and procedures; applies lessons-learned from previous experiences and assignments. Provides on-the-job training for new staff. Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; calls out appropriately. Document and clearly articulate the test approach for each sprint/release/project. Interpret User Stories into Acceptance Criteria and test scenarios. Identify regression test cases and scripts. Document defects clearly and concisely in

JIRA. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering (any) or related field and 10 years of experience in the job or related position.

Prior experience to include:

Software delivery process and Agile methodology. Quality tools

JIRA, HP ALM.

Automation tools Selenium, Playwright and Jenkins. TOAD, SQL, PL/SQL and Java, Python. Financial products/functions and technologies. Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CICD) processes. Hands On experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc. as well as CI/CD technologies (e.g. Cloudbees, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Cucumber, Git, JUnit, Jira etc.). Testing modern scripting language-based components. Automated testing and test-driven development. Software testing methodologies and techniques, including unit testing, integration testing, and functional testing and Regression Testing. Hands on experience on backend test automation using Rest Assured/Karate for API testing.

JDBC/JPA

for database testing (Oracle/ DB2/ Snowflake).

LOCATION

Coppell, TX. Telecommuting may be permitted a few days a week. When not telecommuting, must report to DTCCs office in Coppell, TX.
