About the role QA testers run various tests on software to ensure it meets all standards and guidelines and is ready to be marketed to consumers. They identify issues and run debugging programs as needed. QA testers also generate reports, work with software developers to correct issues, and upgrade databases as required. What you'll do Create test plans for the product and features Identify and report software defects Collaborate within the cross-functional team to ensure requirements are met Document testing procedures used to validate tickets Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies Qualifications Solid understanding of quality control processes In depth and solid knowledge of SDLC Proficient in software testing, especially web application tests Experience of QA scripting languages and coding unit tests preferred Operational knowledge of software product family preferred Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
