This is a full-time, direct hire role. This is a computer hardware position, not software . If hired, this person will train at the client's Grapevine facility before transitioning to work at their Fort Worth facility. Test Engineer The Sr. Test Engineer will establish test procedures and oversee product testing throughout development and production stages.
Job Duties:
Coordinate and execute tests during the quality control phase of manufacturing. Gather and analyze information on materials and components used in production. Develop proposals for testing programs and procedures, specifying testing conditions. Conduct tests on new products and design systems to collect digital data during testing. Analyze test data to assess the accuracy and reliability of results. Identify and address issues with new products, recommending or implementing solutions. Continue testing and refinement until results meet product requirements and specifications. Prepare detailed technical reports and recommend production modifications based on findings. Develop and integrate quality control testing procedures into the production process. Seek innovative methods to save time and reduce costs while maintaining quality effectiveness. Maintain a positive work environment that supports the company's culture. Promote a healthy and safe work environment, focusing on employee well-being. Strengthen relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Oversee inventory management and merchandise allocation to ensure efficient and cost-effective product flow through the warehouse.Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering. 3 - 5 years of experience as a Test Engineer (Computer Hardware) Strong verbal and written communication skills for constructive and positive discussions on product flaws. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Moderate experience with scripting/configuring using C++, Python, XML, CMD, etc. Robust understanding of general computing device architecture. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software for preparing test reports and proposals. Determined to achieve excellent results. Continuously seeks better methods. Demands high performance and inspires commitment.
