Software QA Tester Position We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Software QA Tester to join our team and ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of our C# MVC web application built on .NET 8 Core. This application streamlines the secure collection of IRS tax information and prepares electronic filings for the IRS. As a QA Tester, you will play a critical role in verifying that every form functions correctly, all data validation rules are enforced, PDF outputs are accurate and compliant, and core features such as customer login, access security, and data protection meet the highest standards. This is a high-impact position where precision and thoroughness directly affect regulatory compliance and customer trust. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive manual and automated testing of the entire web application, with primary focus on: All tax-related input forms (data entry, calculations, and submission flows) Data validation rules, error handling, and edge-case scenarios Accurate generation and printing of IRS-compliant PDF forms and supporting documents Test and validate customer login, authentication, session management, and multi-factor authentication flows Conduct security testing around access controls, role-based permissions, data encryption, and protection of sensitive tax information Execute end-to-end functional, regression, integration, and usability testing across different browsers and devices Identify, document, and track defects using standard bug-tracking tools; work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues Verify IRS tax data handling complies with required formats, business rules, and regulatory requirements Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release sign-off meetings Continuously improve QA processes and suggest automation opportunities for repetitive test scenarios Required Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on QA testing experience for web applications (C#/.NET experience is highly preferred) Strong understanding of web technologies, including

ASP.NET MVC, .NET 8
