Job Description

Automation Specialist Midland, TX 79705 Contract Pay rate : $50-58/hr on W2

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 3+ years of oil and gas automation, instrumentation, or controls experience Strong knowledge of oil and gas facility process equipment and automation system design Advanced experience with PLCs, HMIs, RTUs, EFMs, and POCs (Allen-Bradley, Totalflow, ROC, Coriolis, etc.) Strong understanding of digital and analog I/O, loop commissioning, and facility startup Experience troubleshooting and calibrating temperature, pressure, level, and flow instrumentation Working knowledge of pneumatic instrumentation calibration and maintenance Experience with MOC and PSSR processes; design reviews and PHA/PHR experience preferred Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills Knowledge of automation host systems and industrial control networks Proficient with test equipment such as Fluke 789, HART Communicator, and radio communications software
