Interim Software Testing & QA Engineer (Python) | Remote | $50-$60/hr Vaco is partnering with a client on an interim Software Testing & QA role supporting data?driven and automated systems. This position focuses on validating applications that rely on complex data logic, ensuring systems behave as expected across different use cases. Responsibilities Design and execute software tests that simulate real-world data scenarios Build automated testing requests to validate application behavior Create reusable testing utilities that support long-term use across teams Automate data gathering and validation, including working with XML fragments and templates Use Python scripting extensively to support automation, testing, and integration work Support API and data testing, including Postman-based workflows Qualifications Proven experience in software testing and QA Very strong Python skills with a focus on scripting and automation Postman experience is highly valued SQL experience is a plus; Snowflake experience preferred Ability to build scalable, reusable testing solutions Details Interim / Contract Remote Pay rate: $50-$60/hour depending on experience Panel interview with technical peers Training provided to learn tools and internal structure Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
