• Job Purpose:

• As a Test Engineer Intern, you will be integrated into a dynamic team working on various testing methodologies and processes to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn about the intricacies of software testing, quality assurance (QA) methodologies, and the software development lifecycle from a testing perspective. You will collaborate with development and QA teams to plan, execute, and report on tests that help in identifying issues and ensuring that the software meets its design specifications and user requirements.

Test Planning:

Help in creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases based on requirements;

• Execution of test cases (manual or automated) and analyze the results to ensure the software's reliability and performance;

Bug Tracking and Reporting:

Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs. Provide detailed information to enable swift resolution;

Quality Assurance:

Support quality assurance processes to ensure that standards and procedures are adhered to and aligned with industry best practices;

Work closely with developers to reproduce bugs and verify fixes;

Stay updated with new testing tools and test strategies, and explore opportunities to incorporate these into practice.

• Qualifications and Experience:

• Basic understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes;
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
• Good communication and teamwork abilities;
• A keen interest in software quality and a passion for technology;
• Familiarity with any programming or scripting languages is a plus;
• Knowledge of automated testing tools is a plus.

• This is a traditional office setting and requires the occasional lifting of weight of 50lbs. Lifting boxes of paper;

• This is a traditional office setting and requires the use of a computer, keyboard and other equipment. Employee will be sitting the majority of the day with occasional walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling and driving;

• Work is in office sitting and not exposed to extremes of heat and cold. The position may require some work on the manufacturing floor that could expose candidate to all environmental aspects;
