Job Description

Arcadia is seeking a Senior Software Quality Assurance Specialist/Application Tester to support multiple software applications in various stages of deployment, from emerging technologies to legacy systems. About Arcadia Strategy Group LLC Arcadia Strategy Group supports federal government partners and select private sector clients with solutions that improve program efficiencies and enhance national security.
Description Description:
The tester will work as part of a small test team and support automated and manual testing efforts. The role requires modern automated testing knowledge and the ability to perform manual testing when automation is impractical. The tester may also support performance and load testing with application developers. This position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph on day one.
Requirements:
Experience with SQL queries for data validation, including Oracle, Postgres, or MySQL. Expertise with Selenium WebDriver. Strong experience writing automated test code in Java. Ability to evaluate developer assignments, understand requirements independently, and engineer tests for successful and failure conditions. Experience using an IDE such as IntelliJ, Eclipse, or NetBeans. Experience working in a Linux environment, including Bash scripting or vi. Expertise writing test plans, cases, procedures, scripts, and scenarios. Demonstrated experience with manual and automated testing processes. Ability to work well in a constantly evolving environment. Ability to ensure QA and testing approaches account for known vulnerabilities and best practices. Experience conducting and reporting testing using repeatable industry best-practice processes. Ability to maintain and update the test environment. Development skills appropriate for automated testing. Hands-on experience with testing tools such as JMeter and/or Selenium.
